High-Altitude Equatorial Plasma during Storms

IDA4D is being used to investigate how the high altitude equatorial plasma is redistributed by ExB and neutral wind transport during magnetic storms. Of particular interest is the role of equatorial penetration fields in high altitude plasma transport and the formation of storm enhanced density (SED).
